Craig Brandon teaches print news writing and editing. He is also the advisor and teacher for the student newspaper, the Equinox and the student yearbook, the Kronicle . He spent 20 years as a journalist in New York State and his writing has won a number of national and local awards. He is the author of Murder in the Adirondacks , (North Country Books 1986) about the murder case that Theodore Dreiser used as the basis for An American Tragedy , and The Electric Chair , (McFarland and Co, 1999) a history of that device. He has appeared on National Public Radio, the History Channel, PBS and Unsolved Mysteries as an on-air expert and technical advisor.
