Subject Areas: Rhetorical Theory, Rhetorical Criticism, Persuasion, Fundamentals of Speech, African-American Rhetoric, The Rhetoric of the Sixties, and Mass Communication Theory, among others.

Nigel Malcolm received a B.A. in political science from Yale University, an M.A. in mass communications from the University of South Florida , and a Ph.D. in communication from the University of South Florida .  He was awarded both scholarships and fellowships for his academic achievements including membership in Kappa Tau Alpha, and Phi Kappa Phi.  His research deals with the intersections of politics, race, and class.  He's studied both Spanish and Italian and loves to travel.
