Sociology Student Honor Society    

Alpha Kappa Delta is the International Honor Society for Sociologists, and the Beta Chapter is active at Keene State College.  We have attended conferences in New York City, Boston, and Rhode Island.  If you are a student interested in becoming a member, please pick up an application from Dr. Brian Green, AKD advisor.  You must be a junior or senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and a demonstrated interest in sociology.

New England Sociological Association

Each fall and spring NESA sponsors a conference focused on a topic of interest to sociologists.  I serve on the Executive Council and the Undergraduate Outreach Committee.  One of my main goals is to encourage students to engage in research that matters and to share their findings with the public through posters, workshops, and roundtable discussions.  For more information click here:
