Patrick
Eggleston earned his B.S. from Michigan State University in 1963,
his M.S. from Cornell University in 1966, and his Ph.D. in Zoology from the Ohio State University in 1975. Since then
he has taught Biology and Environmental Studies at Keene State
College.
At various times, he
has acted as Chair of Environmental Studies and
Biology. He has been Secretary and later President
of the Keene State College Education Association.
He
has interests in ecology, evolution, and fresh water biology.
He is currently working on population studies of fresh-water
diatoms in the Ashuelot River in southwestern New Hampshire.
He is also studying the environmental changes to the Ashuelot River over time. He has found some drastic changes in the pH of the river.
Patrick
enjoys hiking, fishing, bike riding, travel, watching films, photography, and listenening to music. He is married and has one daughter and one grand-daughter.
