Craig
Lindsay Craig has been the Technical Director for the Theatre and Dance department
since 1995. As T.D. he has managed the development and
realization of over forty Keene State Theatre and Dance productions. Craig
has designed lighting for three K.S.C. productions and is a regular
contributing lighting designer to the annual dance concert. Craig
has also designed sound for three K.S.C. productions. On behalf of
Keene State, Craig accepted the Golden Hammer Award at The Kennedy
Center American Theatre College Festival for Servant of Two Masters. At
Keene State Craig teaches courses in lighting, sound, and technical
theatre. He teaches “Theatre Lab” in the scene-shop
with Céline Perron that produces scenery, props and lighting
for K.S.C. productions. Craig also teaches the “Production
Process” classes for all K.S.C. faculty directed shows. 
Craig’s career in theatre started in Canada where he worked
at The Great Canadian Theatre Company (Ottawa), the Saidye Bronfman
Center (Montreal), Youth Theatre (Montreal), Centaur Theatre (Montreal),
Piggery Theatre (Quebec), and The National Arts Center (Ottawa). Craig
has worked professionally as a lighting designer, sound designer, scenic
designer, production manager, technical director, stage manager, and
carpenter/technician. Craig has been a guest scenic and lighting
designer at Bishop’s University. He also worked on productions
at Concordia University in Montreal.
Since arriving in Keene in December 1994, Craig has designed lighting at the Peterborough Players, the Actors Theatre Playhouse, and The Putney School. He also designed the lighting for the Mable Brown Room (KSC Student Center). Craig has worked for Franklyn Pierce College theatre department.
Craig holds a B.A. with Honors from Bishop’s
University in Quebec, and a graduate diploma in Communication from
Concordia University (Montreal).
