Marcia
MurdockMarcia Murdock is director of the dance program in the Department
of Theatre and Dance at Keene State College, where she has taught and
choreographed for more than twenty years. Finding professional challenge
and delight in collaboration, Murdock has choreographed for musical
theatre, video, and evening-length music productions, as well as directing
and choreographing annual modern dance concerts at KSC. An alumna of
Brandeis University and past company member of Performing Arts Ensemble,
Murdock currently finds her dance passion directed towards the arts
in public education, serving on the NH Department of Education's Dance
Teacher Certification Standards Committee, as well as working with
the NH Healing Arts Initiative under the auspices of the NH State Council
on the Arts.
