After September 11, 2001

The links below open various web pages I believe to be valuable or informative about the current terrorism crisis, Afghanistan, US policies, and related matters. Please send me links to other useful material. Spelling of names and some non-English words may be inconsistent below. Sources do not agree on ways to transliterate Arabic and other languages into English. I have sometimes copied my sources and sometimes chosen a spelling that seemed right at the time. The collection is organized into seven sets of links to articles and web sites plus one link to a page of news sources. Within each section the articles are roughly chronological by date of publication with more recent ones first.

By Christmas, 2001, the scope and depth of the ``after September 11'' story has grown so large that I cannot keep up - not that I was really keeping up before. Consequently, the coverage as we enter 2002 is especially spotty.
