The Mandala Sand Painting: A Sacred Art -- describing a mandala created by the Tibetan Lamas of Drepung Loseling at Kentucky's Berea College in 1999. Monks from the same monastary constructed another sand painting at the Newport Performing Arts Center on the Oregon coast in early 2000. Carl Jung considered mandalas, whether Tibetan or from other cultures, to be symbols tuned to the collective unconscious in all of us.
