Last October, U.S. Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) secured a $2 million appropriation from the U.S. Department of Justice for Keene State College and the University of New Hampshire to develop a public safety management system (PSMP) for New Hampshire. The system will help police and fire personnel know whether the site of an emergency contains dangerous hazardous materials.
