Registration and Costs

Internship Credits must be paid at the same rate as any earned credits at KSC. During the Fall and Spring semesters students register and pay through the Office of the Registrar just like adding any class to your schedule with the same number of credits. Summer Internships are handled by the Office of Continuing Education. Credits must be paid at the same rate as any class of equal credits..
Internship Forms All Student Interns must complete the following forms:

1. Keene State College Safety Internship Code of Conduct… a signed promissory commitment by the student to conduct themselves in a professional manner while fulfilling their Internship with the understanding that participation in a safety internship with a sponsoring organization is an elective privilege. This form is to be signed and returned to the faculty sponsor.

2. An Internship “Learning Agreement”. This document must be signed by the Student, the Faculty Sponsor, and the onsite supervisor. In addition, this form must have a written job description of the specific Internship position attached. The Learning Agreement also describes the reporting requirements and due dates for the Internship. Students must maintain a daily journal of activities and submit these journals to the Faculty Sponsor each week via email. At the end of the Internship the student must submit a brief summary paper of the Internship experience. This will be submitted by the first day of Finals Week.

3. Student Internship Evaluation Form. This form must be completed by the students and submitted on-time with logs and summary by the first day of Finals Week.

Faculty must submit grades on the same schedule as all classes. Neglecting to complete paperwork in a timely manner could result in a failing grade for the Internship.

4. Employer Internship Evaluation Form. This form must be completed and submitted by the first day of Finals Week. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure the employer has the proper forms and is aware of the submission dates.

If an Internship will continue beyond one semester all paperwork and forms must be completed again for the additional semesters
